Yes, I'm naturally that goofy looking. This was taken at my senior show for college. Note the apathy. ...Anyhow, here's the story:
When I was growing up, I always had a knack for drawing. It started off as tracing when I was little, and became more advanced as I got older. I would make sure to always catch reruns of shows like Imaginiation Station and other such drawing specials. Both my parents and teachers alike noticed this appetite for drawing, and decided to help push me along.
For years I would draw monsters, cartoons and creatures with friends, just trying to have fun.
The end of high school meant that I had to focus on a career. The easy choice was art, and after a little research I decided to enroll at Kendall School of Art and Design. It was a drastically different place than high school. See, everyone there was talented. After several classes, I found myself retaining my own personal style, and I could see myself improving.
Within the 2006 school year, I met a wonderfully talented illustrator in my field, named Sara. She also has an inspiring son, named Donovan. We dated for over a year, and October 2007, I asked her to marry me.
This brings me to current times. Sara and I are married, and have a beautiful daughter named Violet. I finished school in December 08' and graduated this May. I finally have my BFA in Illustration.
As for me, I enjoy art, video games, heavy metal, and monster movies. Godzilla is a personal idol for me, and is real inspiration for everyday life. I love to eat and be with my adoring family; they are what keeps me on track.
